Teaching Assistant Role in Birmingham

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team in Birmingham. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs in a specialist provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with additional needs
  • Assist teachers in the classroom to ensure a positive learning environment
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students' learning and development
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Sociology)
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: £420 - £445 per week
  • Full-time contract with immediate start
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Opportunity to work in a specialist provision supporting students with additional needs
