Job Overview

Sussex Police is committed to delivering a better policing service, and we are seeking a skilled Capital Projects Officer to support us in achieving this goal. As an Estates Project Officer, you will be part of a small team focused on delivering capital projects as part of the overall Estate Transformation programme.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering capital projects, preferably in the commercial and/or public sector (non-housing) estate, and will be able to work through all RIBA stages, supporting stakeholder engagement and project communications. They will also have a developing focus on time, cost, and risk, together with safety as most projects will require operational Policing to continue.

The estimated salary for this role is around £40,000 - £44,000 per annum, depending on experience. The post also offers a contributory pension scheme (LGPS), generous annual leave allowance, discounts for everyday spend, on-site gyms, and a range of sports clubs.
