We are seeking a skilled Registration Officer to join our team at Hull City Council.

As a Registration Officer, you will be responsible for providing a professional service to customers, obtaining information by questioning to register life events, following births, deaths, marriages, and civil partnerships.

You will work in an emotionally challenging environment, dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis, and using multiple IT systems in a busy office setting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and reconciling statutory fees
  • Creating and maintaining accurate legal records
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

Successful candidates will have:

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in an emotionally challenging environment
