About the Role
As a Programme Manager for Payments, you will be responsible for driving the EU Work Summary and Invoicing programmes to improve the last mile cost and customer experience for Amazon Logistics EU. You will own multiple programmes to develop best-in-class operations, making effective, real-time decisions to maximise customer and driver experience while on the road.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for EU Work Summary and Invoicing programmes to drive automation and invoicing accuracy impacting last-mile customer experience and last-mile cost.
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
- Partner with other analysts and BI engineers in planning and analytics to build analytical solutions to deliver on business goals.
- Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations.
About the Team
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions.
Requirements
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent.
- Relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related.
- Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager.
- Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced or master's degree.
- Project-management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
- Relevant experience using business intelligence reporting tools (OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSAS Cubes, etc.).
- Experience in working with Redshift.
