About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Programs Manager to join our Amazon Logistics team in Europe. As a key member of our Central Operations team, you will be responsible for driving the Work Summary and Invoicing programs to improve the overall last mile cost and DSP Experience for Amazon Logistics EU.

You will work closely with our work summary and invoicing execution teams, as well as partner teams such as DSP, ACES, and Finance, to build processes, systems, and mechanisms to monitor and take actions. Your goal will be to optimize cost and customer experience, both in the short term through process improvements and in the long term through step-function improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
  • Partner with other analysts and BI engineers in planning and analytics to build analytical solutions to deliver on business goals.
  • Develop processes and systems to achieve metrics, often requiring scrappy solutions to temporarily overcome technical limitations. The ability to scale will be critical to all processes.
  • Deep dive, identify, and lead process improvement initiatives through quantitative analysis and data-driven decision making.
About the Team

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We utilize creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands of our customers. Our goal is to make our customers' delivery experience as smooth as possible and roll out global delivery solutions.

Requirements
  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or other business/analytical disciplines or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related.
  • Relevant experience as a Project/Program Manager.
  • Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced or master's degree.
  • Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Relevant experience using business intelligence reporting tools (OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSAS Cubes, etc.).
  • Experience in working with Redshift.
