Responsibilities and Expectations:
  1. Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify the occupational needs of children and young people.
  2. Therapeutic Planning: Develop and implement individualized plans to address the identified needs.
  3. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with schools, families, and other agencies to ensure seamless support and care.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience in occupational therapy, particularly with children and young people with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities.
  • Detailed knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures, such as the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice.

Contract Terms:

  • A minimum commitment of four months.
  • Thirty hours of work per week, from Monday to Thursday.

Compensation: A competitive hourly rate of £32.
