About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Sales Team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining existing established relationships with our clients and developing new relationships with potential customers.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Business Manager to define a strategy for success and provide exceptional customer service. You will spend time with clients to understand their problems and challenges and work collaboratively with our Commercial team to solve these problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for service uplifts and contractual renegotiation.
  • Work with the Commercial team to understand the services we deliver to designated clients and identify opportunities for new business.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the Business Manager to set and achieve sales targets and KPIs.

Experience and Skills:

The following experiences and skills would be considered necessary:

  • 1 Year 'Customer Centric' B2B sales experience in the UK.
  • Excellent organisational and proposal writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport instantly.
  • A proactive approach with ability to use initiative and manage without authority.
  • A UK Driving License.

The following skills and experience would be desirable:

  • Experience of a customer facing role within an IT channel provider (MSP or VAR).
  • Experience of ConnectWise CRM.
  • Face to Face business sales experience.
