Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a mainstream secondary school in Merton. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic progress and helping them reach their full potential.

About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about education and want to gain valuable classroom experience. You will work closely with teachers to assist in lesson delivery, provide one-on-one support to students, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting students' learning
  • Provide individualized support to students who require extra help
  • Support students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Maintain classroom discipline and assist with behavior management
  • Work with teachers to monitor and track student progress
  • Contribute to creating learning resources and assist with administrative tasks

Requirements:
A recent university graduate (preferably in a subject related to the curriculum), passion for education, excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with students and staff, proactive approach to supporting learning, and enhanced DBS check.

What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £85,000 - £105,000 per annum, depending on experience, opportunities for professional development, and potential career progression within Tempest Resourcing Limited.
