Medical Imaging Professional

The Medical Imaging Department at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a skilled Medical Imaging Professional to fill a Band 7 position. This exciting opportunity allows an experienced sonographer to contribute to our busy team, ensuring seamless delivery of medical imaging services.

This role includes responsibility for reporting all assigned work and participating in the training of junior colleagues. As a member of our team, you will engage with various areas, including obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound, early pregnancy assessment, and specialist roles such as musculoskeletal (MSK) and neonatal examinations.

This vacancy involves occasional travel to our other sites: Mansfield Community Hospital and Newark Hospital. Currently, we are involved in setting up a Community Diagnostic Centre at Mansfield Community Hospital, with ultrasound playing a significant part.
