Reception Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class at a school in Enfield. This is a long-term supply position, commencing ASAP.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide 2:1 support for twins in Reception, plan and execute engaging activities to enhance student learning, and cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to Reception pupils, focusing on their unique needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement enriching activities to promote student learning and development, aligning with the school's curriculum.
  • Maintain a well-organized and tidy classroom environment, ensuring accessible resources for all students.
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to implement effective strategies for supporting pupils with diverse needs.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Reception class.
  • A nurturing and inspiring approach to supporting learners of all abilities.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable, as is experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
