Reception Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class at a school in Enfield. This is a long-term supply position, commencing ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils in Reception, focusing on their academic and personal development.
  • Assist the Class Teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities to enhance student learning and development.
  • Develop positive relationships with the Class Teacher, other staff members, and pupils to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Ensure the classroom is well-organized, with accessible resources available for pupils.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, implementing them effectively in the classroom.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Reception class.
  • A nurturing approach and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable.
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is desirable.
