Reception Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class at our school. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experience of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils in Reception, focusing on their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring accessibility and resources for all students.
  • Develop positive relationships with colleagues and pupils, fostering a sense of community and respect.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Reception setting.
  • A nurturing approach and ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable.
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs is an asset.
