Reception Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a Reception class at a school in Enfield. This is a long-term supply position, commencing ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to pupils in Reception, focusing on their academic and personal development.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain a well-organized and accessible classroom, ensuring resources are readily available for pupils.
  • Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, demonstrating a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Requirements:
  • Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Reception class.
  • A nurturing approach and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable.
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs is an advantage.
