As the Outpatient Clinical Lead Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional care to our patients, working closely with Orthopaedic and Surgical Consultants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team of therapists. You will be responsible for leading service development initiatives, driving quality improvement, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of therapists, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of MSK and orthopaedic conditions, acting as a clinical expert and supporting complex clinical decision-making.
- Develop and implement service development initiatives, focusing on expanding MSK and orthopaedic offerings and driving innovation.
- Ensure the smooth operation of outpatient services, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment management.
- Deliver personalized, compassionate care with treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives, lead clinical audits, and participate in external inspections and accreditation processes.
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
- Significant post-qualification experience, including leadership in an outpatient setting.
- Advanced clinical skills in MSK and orthopaedics.
- Proven ability to manage a team, lead service development projects, and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Strong organizational, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
