Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Risk & Internal Audit Manager to join our team at Allen Lane Interim & Permanent Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the internal audit and risk management processes to ensure the highest level of integrity and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute an Annual Internal Audit Plan: Prioritize audit activities based on identified risks and strategic objectives, ensuring that audits are carried out and documented in accordance with recognized auditing standards.
- Lead the Development and Implementation of the Risk Management Framework: Collaborate with the Programmes and Fundraising teams to oversee the compliance function, ensuring donor compliance and adherence to all donor requirements and regulations.
- Maintain and Update the Risk Register: Regularly review and assess risks, ensuring that the organization's risk management framework is up-to-date and effective.
- Work Closely with the Director of Finance, Compliance, and Governance: Collaborate with the Director to ensure that the internal audit and risk management processes are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Professional Qualification: Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (CIA) certification or full CCAB qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
- Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in risk management and internal audit, preferably within an international NGO or similar environment.
- Strong Understanding: Of risk management frameworks and internal audit methodologies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
