About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Support Worker to join our team at My Care My Home. As a Community Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to elderly and vulnerable adults in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prompting and supporting with personal care and dressing
  • Assisting with light household duties, including laundry, shopping, and cleaning
  • Supporting with medication, including collecting prescriptions and administering medication
  • Accompanying service users to medical appointments if needed
  • Providing general companionship

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.00, including weekends
  • A weekend Shift Allowance of £10.00 per day
  • Mileage allowance of 45p per mile, with the option to use a Fuel Card
  • Travel time allowance of £11.44 per hour for continuous calls from one service user to another

  • The option to be paid Weekly or Monthly

Requirements:

  • No formal qualifications or previous experience in the care sector are required, as full training and support will be provided
  • An enhanced DBS check will be actioned as part of the pre-employment process
