Care Specialist

We are seeking a Care Specialist to join our team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children who require 24-hour care and support.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading their shifts, supporting the Registered Manager with recruitment, supervision, meetings, and inspections. They will also be involved in ensuring our children receive the best quality of life possible, whether through baking at home, fun days out, or holidays with them.
As a Care Specialist, you will need to have patience, compassion, and resilience. You will be working with children who may have experienced trauma, which may impact their behavior. Great communication skills are essential, as you will be speaking to various people at different times and need to update the children's plans.
A driving license is required, as our children love to be out in the community. We have the cars; you just need the license. Flexibility is also key, as you will need to sleep at the home during your shifts. The children need support 24 hours a day, allowing you to work your full week in 2-3 days.

Estimated salary: £28,080 per annum, based on 40 hours per week, plus £6,183 per month based on 10 sleep ins. Total package up to £34,263 per annum.
