As a Senior Care Assistant at HC-One, you will be the epitome of kindness and empathy in providing exceptional care to our residents. Your primary role will be to plan and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual, ensuring they feel secure, dignified, and independent.

Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care and promoting a culture of kindness throughout the care home. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues alike.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Registered Nurses and Care Managers in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through various social and recreational activities.
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate records of care provided.
  • Participating in person-centered care planning and developing tailored care plans that meet the specific needs of each resident.
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and promoting a culture of kindness and respect.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for individuals with dementia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
