We are now seeking a Community Care Specialist to join our team in the Caerphilly area.

About the Role

We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to work as part of our team, providing essential support to our service users.

As a Community Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to elderly and vulnerable adults in their own homes, including:

  1. Prompting and supporting with personal care and dressing.
  2. Supporting with light household duties, including laundry, shopping, and cleaning.
  3. Assisting with medication, including collecting prescriptions and administering medication.
  4. Accompanying service users to medical appointments, if needed.
  5. Providing general companionship and emotional support.

You will be working as part of a knowledgeable and passionate team, delivering care to service users in a variety of settings, including their own homes.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.00, including weekends, as well as a range of benefits, including:

  1. A weekend Shift Allowance of £10.00 per day.
  2. Mileage allowance of 45p per mile, with the option to use a Fuel Card.
  3. Travel time allowance of £11.44 per hour for continuous calls from one service user to another.
  4. A free eye test voucher and a money-off coupon for a pair of glasses at Specsavers opticians.
  5. The option to be paid Weekly or Monthly.
  6. A £500 Refer a Friend scheme (subject to conditions).
  7. Free uniform and full PPE.

Requirements

We do not ask for any formal qualifications or previous experience of working within the care sector, as full training and support will be given.

As part of the pre-employment process, an enhanced DBS check will be actioned.
