About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career and Employability Officer to join our team at Elizabeth School of London. As a key member of our Student Support and Welfare Team, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their career aspirations and develop the skills and knowledge required for successful employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide career guidance and support to students, helping them to identify their strengths, interests, and career goals.
  • Develop and deliver career development programs and initiatives to support students' professional growth, including career fairs, industry-specific events, and guest speaker sessions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with employers, industry professionals, and alumni to create networking and employment opportunities for students.
  • Collaborate with academic and professional services colleagues to ensure a high-quality and consistent student experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of career development programs and initiatives, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Good degree in a relevant discipline and/or other equivalent and relevant prior experience.
  • Direct experience as a key influencer in supporting students to engage with careers and employability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at different levels.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Good IT skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and use of databases.
