About the Role

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an experienced MDT Coordinator to join their Cancer Services team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the MDT meetings and administrative duties.

Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and support MDT meetings, ensuring that all necessary information is gathered and presented in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the MDT team, including data entry, document preparation, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with national standards and local guidelines.
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings with the MDT team, including weekly PTL and MDT meetings.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including data entry and document preparation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of national guidance for Cancer Standards and local application.
