About the Role

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic MDT Coordinator to join their growing service. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to build their skills and knowledge within a fast-paced service and develop their career pathway with the NHS.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide 'behind the scenes' support to patients who have been referred to the hospital to exclude a diagnosis of cancer. They will assist in improving the pathways of suspected and diagnosed cancer patients, facilitating and supporting MDT meetings and administrative duties to help guide the patient through the CWT pathway in line with national targets.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Educated to at least A Level/diploma level or comparable experience

Desirable

  • Demonstrable evidence of further (relevant) academic qualifications
  • Demonstrable evidence of recognised IM&T qualifications/training (minimum equating to ECDL)
