Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Timber Frame Specialist

Location: UK Market Leader in the Timber Frame Industry

Sector: Timber Frame

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Package


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at ARV Solutions, a well-established specialist subcontractor in the timber frame industry. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with internal teams to deliver projects to the correct price and quality
  • Undertaking pre-construction activities, including agreeing prices, terms, and conditions, and payment terms
  • Arranging payments and prices with subcontract installers
  • Day-to-day contract administration
  • Reporting project costs through a monthly cost report (MCR)


Requirements:

  • Commercial background with experience in a similar role
  • Ideally coming from a subcontractor background
  • Strong communication and administrative skills
  • Preferably holds a degree in a construction field
