**Learning Support Assistant for SEMH/ SEN School**

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Philip Southcote School. The successful candidate will provide essential support to students with SEMH and SEN needs, helping them access and thrive in mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other educational professionals to implement annual review targets and adapt classroom activities to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Provide academic support, one-on-one assistance, and help students develop social and communication skills.
  • Monitor student progress, offer constructive feedback, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
What We Offer:

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum. As an employee of Bourne Education Trust, you will also be entitled to workplace pension through LGPS, occupational sick pay, recognition policies, ongoing training, learning and development opportunities, well-being support, family friendly policies, and on-site parking.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to support students with learning and additional needs. Previous experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications in education or special needs support is highly desirable.
