Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, medication management, and light housekeeping duties.
  • Support clients with mobility and physical disabilities, including incontinence and the use of personal aids and equipment.
  • Care for clients who are temporarily sick or terminally ill, providing bed nursing and assistance with feeding and other needs.
  • Encourage clients to participate in mental and physical activities, such as talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
  • Perform light cleaning, emptying commodes, and general tidying tasks.
  • Prepare and serve light meals, clearing away, and washing up.
  • Read and write reports, participate in clients' reviews, and training activities.
  • Adhere to all Caremark's policies and procedures at all times.
  • Report significant changes in clients' health or circumstances to the Field Care Supervisor or Care Manager.
  • Encourage clients' independence wherever possible.
