Customs Clearance Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Clerk to join our team at P&O Ferrymasters. As a key member of our customs team, you will be responsible for ensuring customs declarations are processed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customs declarations in a timely manner
  • Respond to queries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Ensure sufficient information is received from carriers to maintain a smooth delivery service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Strong import and export declaration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Ability to speak another European language (an advantage)
  • Flexibility to work shifts and cover some bank holidays
