Job Title: Customs Clearance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team at P&O Ferrymasters. As a key member of our customs team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of customs declarations and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process customs declarations in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review and update systems with relevant customs declaration information
  • Record and track duties paid by P&O Ferrymasters and ensure recovery from clients
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their customs declaration needs are met
  • Collaborate with the Customs Declarations Manager to achieve team objectives and deliver service excellence
Requirements:
  • Strong import and export declaration experience
  • Knowledge of CDS, Destin8, and CNS systems
  • Excellent organisational skills, including ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to handle large amounts of information
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work shifts and cover some bank holidays
