About the Job

A manufacturing company in Worchester seeks a Ledger Clerk to join their team. The position is available on a full-time, permanent basis with a salary range of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

Main Tasks:
  • Receive and verify invoices from suppliers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Categorize and record invoices in the company's ledger system.
  • Regularly review accounts payable to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of suppliers.
  • Issue invoices and communicate with customers regarding payment.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to customer accounts.
  • Manage employee expenses in line with company policies.
  • Assist with payroll processing as needed.
  • Prepare necessary documents for internal and external audits.
  • Perform various administrative tasks including filing and answering phone calls.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar financial support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Word, and knowledge of Sage 50 software.
