We are seeking a Contract Ledger Clerk to join our team in Birmingham, West Midlands. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing various financial duties, including managing employee expense claims efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Extracting data from Accounts Payable and General Ledger
- Verifying business accounts and alerting the accountant of any errors or discrepancies
- Recording inconsistencies to help reconcile inaccuracies
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Requirements:
- Experience in ledger management or a related field
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
