Contract Ledger Clerk Job Description:

We are seeking a Contract Ledger Clerk to join our team in Birmingham, West Midlands. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing various financial duties, including managing employee expense claims efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Extracting data from Accounts Payable and General Ledger
  • Verifying business accounts and alerting the accountant of any errors or discrepancies
  • Recording inconsistencies to help reconcile inaccuracies
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Requirements:

  • Experience in ledger management or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
