About the Role:

Academics Ltd is seeking a recent Graduate with a passion for mental health to join their team as a Mental Health Support Worker. As a Graduate in Psychology or a related field, you will have a strong understanding of the importance of mental well-being and be eager to support individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs.

This role is ideal for a Graduate looking to gain experience working with children with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and other experienced staff members to educate pupils and support them emotionally. Your daily duties will involve collaborating with the team to identify potential triggers for pupils and developing strategies to promote mental well-being.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, friendly, and have a genuine interest in supporting children with psychological needs. Any previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs would be beneficial.

About the School:

The school is a Specialist School in Reading that provides support to students with diverse backgrounds and needs. They require a Mental Health Support Worker who is passionate about mental health and willing to work closely with the team to promote well-being.
