School Overview

Our specialist school for children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs is located in Maidenhead, Berkshire, and provides a supportive and inclusive environment for children aged 5 to 11. We are committed to providing high-quality education and care, and are seeking a dedicated graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children with behaviour and mental health issues, and be able to provide high-quality care and child-centred support. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues, alongside therapists and psychologists on-site at the school.

Responsibilities:

  • Support children with behaviour and mental health issues
  • Work closely with therapists and psychologists to ensure comprehensive support
  • Develop and implement individualised support plans

Requirements:

  • Graduate qualification in Psychology or Counselling
  • Level 3 qualifications or higher
  • Experience working with SEN children and/or adults

Salary: £80-£95 per day (full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm)
