About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Academic Director to join our team at the Association of Academic Museums & Galleries. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing museum programs, leading educational initiatives, and managing the day-to-day operations of our art museum and teaching gallery.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the gallery's exhibitions and educational programs
- Lead teams of staff and students in the planning and execution of exhibitions and events
- Collaborate with college advancement to develop fundraising strategies and build relationships with donors
- Manage the gallery's budget, including its significant endowment(s)

Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a PhD in Art History, five years or more prior experience in museum-related work, and teaching experience in higher education. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum.
