Job Title: Centre Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Centre Manager to join our team at our Charity Headquarters in Wallington, Surrey. As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Centre and its administration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the Centre and its staff, including cleaning, grounds, and event staff.
  2. Ensure the Centre is maintained, repaired, and improved as needed.
  3. Process expenses, supplier invoices, and raise invoices on Xero.
  4. Ensure governance requirements are met as set out by Charity Commission and Companies House statues.
  5. Process online banking and reconcile takings.
  6. Assist the Head of Finance with HR duties, including DBS, monthly payroll, contracts, starters, and leavers.
  7. Support Trustee meetings by taking minutes quarterly.
  8. Oversee the running of the indoor cricket school, including checking bookings and managing casual staff.
  9. Support the hire or use of the Centre and set up tea and coffee making facilities as required.
  10. Ensure all rooms in the Centre are kept clean and tidy and report and deal with any issues.
  11. Manage all other office requirements, including post, purchasing subsistence items, and being a fire Marshall and first aider.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience of working within a Charity or similar role would be an advantage.
  2. Knowledge of Bookkeeping/Xero.
  3. Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  4. First-rate customer service skills.
  5. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  6. Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative.
  7. The ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  8. Positive with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude to work.
  9. Previous experience of booking and managing events.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum, 33 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), enhanced sick pay and maternity pay schemes, auto enrolment pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development. This is a permanent, full-time role (4 days per week will be considered for the right candidate).
