Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Newcastle Adult Community Mental Health Team at the Lyme Brook Centre. As a key worker for adults with moderate to severe mental health difficulties, you will work autonomously and accountably within a multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities- Hold a caseload and undertake key worker roles for adults with moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
- Work as an autonomous and accountable practitioner within a multidisciplinary team.
- A supportive and experienced team of professionals, including Psychiatrists, Community Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and more.
- Opportunities for growth and development, with a focus on wellbeing and work-life balance.
- A commitment to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint, with a Green Plan in place to support our net zero ambitions.
- A qualified/registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker (minimum diploma level or equivalent qualification).
- Post-registration experience working in community mental health settings.
- Knowledge of various approaches to mental health assessment.
