Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Bradwell Hall Private Nursing Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support residents with mobility issues, including hoisting
  • Assist residents with eating and drinking, communication, and social activities
  • Work collaboratively with nurses to prepare residents for treatment
  • Complete documentation as requested by the unit manager or nurse
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment within the nursing home

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a care or nursing home
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Caring and compassionate nature
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and reliability

Working Hours and Pay:

  • 22-44 hours per week
  • Enhanced rates of pay for NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification in Health & Social Care
