About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled SEN Teacher to join our thriving school community in West Drayton.

This exciting opportunity allows you to teach Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

You'll work closely with our team of dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs), who will provide essential support in the classroom, enabling you to focus on crafting bespoke lessons tailored to each student's unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implement Customised Lesson Plans: Develop and deliver targeted lesson plans for SEN students in KS2, considering their individual needs and abilities.
  2. Cultivate a Positive Classroom Environment: Foster a climate of growth, respect, and resilience in the classroom by promoting a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  3. Collaborate with TAs: Work alongside experienced TAs to provide tailored support for students, guaranteeing every child's unique needs are addressed.
  4. Maintain and Report Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress and report on achievements, adjusting lesson plans as needed.
  5. Communicate Effectively with Parents and Guardians: Share updates on student achievements and collaborate with parents and guardians on areas for improvement.
