Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality tutoring services to SEN students, adapting to their individual needs and learning styles.
- Collaborate with students, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and a comprehensive understanding of students' requirements.
- Help students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills through targeted interventions and regular progress monitoring.
- Promote independent learning and build student confidence through consistent feedback and encouragement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with SEN students, ideally in outreach or tutoring capacity.
- Familiarity with SEN categories and adaptable teaching methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting children's academic and personal development.
- Desirable: Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS) or relevant SEN training (SEND CO, SEN TA experience).
Salary and Location: Redbridge, East London. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £40-50 depending on experience, with 10-15 hours per week per student.
