Job Summary:

H9 Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the operations of our client's Energy-from-Waste (EfW) plant in Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation of the plant, as well as managing a team of over 30 engineers, technicians, and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plant Operations: Oversee the daily operation of the EfW plant, ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure the successful operation of the plant.
  • Financial Management: Develop and implement financial budgets for the plant, ensuring alignment with company objectives and targets.
  • Contract Management: Act as the primary point of contact for contractual interfaces with Lincolnshire County Council, ensuring the smooth operation of contractual obligations.
  • Training and Development: Implement a training and development program for personnel, ensuring continuous development and improvement of skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education: Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Proven track record in an EfW management role, with a strong technical background in EfW and waste management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Qualifications: Evidence of a professional and disciplined approach to management, with a commitment to meeting personal objectives.
