Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technologist to join our team at Oscar Mayer Limited. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum.

About the Role

The Senior Technologist will be responsible for driving compliance and continuous improvement in core technical disciplines, including quality manual system management, internal audit compliance, HACCP management, complaint trending, and customer reports.

  • Condense and restructure the site quality manual in accordance with customer and 3rd party audit requirements.
  • Ensure site policies, work instructions, factory record sheets, and cleaning instruction cards are controlled and updated as requested by departments to allow training.
  • Manage ordering of technical consumables.
  • Support annual review of site HACCP risk assessments with HACCP team members.
  • Create customer reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in a food-related discipline.
  • Knowledge of BRC standard, customer codes of practice, and relevant chain of custody standards.
  • Internal auditor training.
  • HACCP level 3.
  • A good understanding of microbiological standards, GMP & GHP.
