About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Breast Care to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with breast problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist breast care knowledge, advice, and clinical expertise to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate and deliver holistic care to patients with breast disease from diagnosis to treatment and follow-up.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality initiatives to evaluate and improve standards of care and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of the breast care service within the Trust, promoting expert nursing care and patient-centered practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a 1st level degree in a relevant subject.
  • Relevant specialist long course in breast care at degree level.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching, advanced communication, and psychological level 2 training.
  • Ability to empathize and provide advice to patients and their families.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of patients and work autonomously at an advanced level.
