About the Role
As a leading provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is pioneering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that streamlines patient care and reduces pressures on services and staff. By integrating NHS 111 call centers, clinical assessment, and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Clinical Care Specialist who can independently prescribe and work autonomously within their sphere of competency. You will be responsible for assessing patients, planning their care, administering treatment, and discharging or referring them to other healthcare professionals or external agencies, via phone. You will also utilize our electronic prescribing system.
Based in our dedicated Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) supporting our NHS 111 call center, you will be working as part of a collaborative and multi-skilled team that includes GPs/ANPs, registered nurses, UCPs, mental health and dental nurses, prescribing pharmacists, and pharmacy advisors.
We take pride in our robust infrastructure that ensures clinical safety and provides senior-level support and guidance. You will benefit from regular supervision and education events.
We offer this role as either bank or self-employed.
