Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase your culinary expertise and meet the needs of our clients and customers.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional food quality and service.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying your knowledge to continuously improve our food services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification in culinary arts.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food Hygiene certificate and a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
