About the Role:

The Wilf Ward Family Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our charity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including managing documents and records.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence when required.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order and maintain stationery supplies within The Trust.
  • Data Management: Update the Regional Archiving Databases and ensure that information is accurately recorded, and that information is stored in line with GDPR compliance.
  • Document Management: Arrange safe removal of shredding using approved nominated supplier and update databases, along with labelling and boxing if required.
  • Digital Strategy: Support the Head of Digital and Technology in the development and delivery of the Trust's digital, data, and technology strategy, particularly in relation to a move to digital records.

Requirements:

  • Education: 5 GCSEs at level A-C, or 9-4 (must include Maths and English)
  • Experience: Previous experience of working in an administration role with data management, and entry input is desirable
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Approach: A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attitude: A compassionate and empathetic attitude, aligned with the values of our charity

Important Information:

Due to the nature of the role, a Full UK Driving Licence is essential. Our head office is located in a regional area with a number of office bases across the region where you can work from.

Please be aware it's a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with that particular group such as adults or children. Please note any successful job offer will be conditional based on pre-employment checks such as DBS and referencing prior to a start date agreed.
