Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to provide high-quality administrative support to our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our charity, ensuring that our administrative processes are efficient and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to our team, including managing documents, reports, and presentations.
    • Assist with the preparation of correspondence, emails, and other written communications.
  • Data Management
    • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including data entry and database management.
    • Ensure that all data is stored in line with GDPR compliance.
  • Stationery and Supplies
    • Order and maintain stationery supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary materials to operate effectively.
  • Archiving and Compliance
    • Update the Regional Archiving Databases, ensuring that information is accurately recorded and stored in line with GDPR compliance.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other administrative tasks as required, including arranging safe removal of shredding and updating databases.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • 5 GCSEs at level A-C, or 9-4 (must include Maths and English)
  • Experience
    • Previous experience of working in an administration role with data management and entry input is desirable.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • A compassionate and empathetic attitude, aligned with the values of our charity
  • Other Requirements
    • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
