Supporting Students with ASD

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASD Teaching Assistant to join our team in Canterbury, providing essential support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to students with ASD, implementing tailored strategies to support individual learning needs, and collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and positive learning environment. You will also monitor and record student progress, building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

What You'll Need:
  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child-only DBS on the update service or be willing to get a new one.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of ASD and experience working with children with diverse needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.
