If so, we have the role for you Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a 1-1 Teaching Assistant to work with a named student with ASD at a secondary school in the Canterbury area. The hours are full time between 8:15am and 3:30pm with a daily rate of between £80 and £100 depending on experience.

The role:

- Build a strong rapport and trust with the student to create a supportive learning environment
- Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEP's) and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of the student
- Facilitating social skills development and promoting inclusion within the school community
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO's and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting the student

**Requirements**:

- Experience of working with individuals with ASD, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
