About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Holroyd Howe. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement imaginative and nutritionally balanced menus that cater to diverse tastes, dietary preferences, and nutritional needs of our students.
  • Lead a dynamic kitchen team by example, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and efficiency.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognised culinary institute.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
