About the Role

The ITO Onsite Support Specialist is a critical member of our IT team, responsible for managing the local IT site(s) infrastructure and serving as a point of contact for the supporting global team(s) and vendors. This role requires extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and industry trends, as well as excellent communication skills to engage with employees throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage local IT site(s) infrastructure, including hardware and software maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Act as a point of contact for global IT Operations teams for projects and incidents.
  • Coordinate between business and IT stakeholders for any type of IT Operations issues.
  • Contribute to continuous documentation of the system landscape in the respective area.
  • Provide technical support as a point of contact for IT for the site(s).
  • Perform troubleshooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, and basic deployments and repairs on site(s) where required.
  • Identify potential issues that could adversely impact end-user experience and follow through on action steps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in IT Onsite technical role/capacity.
  • Strong IT technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and other devices, including problem analysis/resolution, and installation.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Project Mgmt. experience.
  • Willingness to be available to travel as necessary to meet business requirements.
