Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Mentor to join our team at GSL Education. As a Learning Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of primary school students, providing individualized support and contributing to their academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to students, reinforcing individual behavior and education plans
  • Follow individual education and behavior plans to ensure consistent and effective support for pupils
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging positive behavior through effective engagement strategies
  • Help organize and prepare teaching materials, ensuring the classroom is well-equipped for effective learning
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and fellow assistants to enrich the educational environment and support the school's success

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one with GSL Education
