About the Role

Preston College is seeking a skilled professional to join our Construction and the Built Environment department as a Lecturer in Plumbing and Gas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for imparting your extensive knowledge and hands-on expertise to aspiring plumbing and gas professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver both practical and theoretical sessions to support learners in achieving their qualifications.
  • Adapt and differentiate teaching to ensure that everyone succeeds and positively progresses.
  • Guide learners through both theoretical concepts and practical applications, preparing them for success in the dynamic and ever-evolving field of plumbing and gas engineering.

Requirements

  • Evidence of skills and technical knowledge of a relevant occupational area.
  • Qualification to at least Level 3.
  • Experience of teaching or training in a further education setting is advantageous.
  • A teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential.
